Nine ROCvA make-up artist/Allround grimeur students competed on the night of Amsterdam Spook’s 13th annual Halloween party Scarytales to create an original work of makeup art on a selection of crew members, including the hostess and performers.
The Scarytales challenge
[image_frame width=250 height=200 pattern=”dotted” align=”left”]https://halloweenamsterdam.com/content/uploads/2013/10/makeup03-11.jpg[/image_frame]Artists chose from a list of character ideas and had contact with the models ahead of time to talk about their costume and overall look.
The artists had just two hours to complete the makeup on the night – in a small busy dressing room no less! The models were responsible for their own costumes but each artist completed the looks with some work on the hair and head.
